What Extra Pages Should You Add to Your Wedding Website?
The built-in programme covers the day itself, ceremony, dinner, first dance. Extra pages cover everything around it, the questions guests actually have before and around the event. Here's what most couples end up adding, and why.
Getting there
Directions, parking, and transport options belong on their own page if your venue is anything less than dead simple to find. Include parking availability, whether there's a shuttle, and anything guests wouldn't guess from a map alone (a gate code, a specific entrance to use, where not to park).
Where to stay
If you've blocked hotel rooms, or even just have recommendations, this page saves you from answering the same question by text a dozen times. Include booking deadlines if a room block has one, and a few options across different price points if your guest list spans a range of budgets.
Dress code
An invite line like "cocktail attire" only goes so far. A dedicated page lets you actually explain what that means for your specific event, indoor or outdoor, formal or relaxed, and headed off the awkward guessing that leads to someone showing up in the wrong thing.
FAQ
This is the page that saves you the most repeated conversations. Whatever questions you've already answered three times by text, put them here: can kids come, is there parking, what time should people arrive, is the ceremony outdoors (weather backup plan), gift registry details if you have one.
Gift list
If you want one, this is where it lives, without it feeling like a requirement plastered across your invite. A page guests can choose to visit, rather than a line item that changes the tone of the invitation itself.
How many is too many
There's a real point of diminishing returns. Five focused pages, each answering a real question, beats twelve pages that guests won't bother clicking through. If you're not sure a page earns its place, ask whether it's answering something guests would actually otherwise text you about. If yes, it's worth adding. If it's just nice-to-have information, consider folding it into the FAQ instead.
How visibility works
Every extra page follows the same visibility rule as your programme items: shown to everyone by default, or restricted to a specific guest group if it only applies to some of your guests. An after-party page, for instance, can be hidden from anyone not invited to the after-party, without a separate site.
We built this feature because we kept hearing the same thing from couples: the built-in schedule covers the day, but there's always more people want to know that doesn't fit neatly into a programme item. Extra pages exist for exactly that gap.
