Wedding RSVP and Photo Sharing in One App

Somewhere in your wedding planning, you'll probably end up with three separate tools doing three separate jobs: a wedding website for RSVPs, a photo-sharing app for guest photos, and a group chat that quietly becomes the real photo album because it's the one thing everyone already has open.

None of these talk to each other. Your RSVP tool doesn't know who actually showed up. Your photo app doesn't know who was invited. And the group chat, doing neither job well, ends up doing both badly.

Where this actually breaks down

Picture the week before the wedding. You need a final headcount for the caterer, so you're checking RSVP responses. You need to know who has dietary restrictions, so you're checking a different tab, or a spreadsheet you built yourself because the RSVP tool's custom questions were limited. Then the wedding happens, and you're sending guests a second link, a different one this time, to a separate app for photos. Some of them never open it. The photos that matter most, the ones your photographer didn't get, end up scattered across everyone's individual camera rolls, or dumped into a group chat that compresses everything into something you can't print, use, or actually keep.

Two tools means two links to share, two things guests can forget, and two places for you to check when you just want one answer: who's coming, and what did we get.

What one app changes

When RSVP and photo sharing live in the same place, a few things get simpler by default. Guests get a single link for the whole event, before and after. You can see, in one view, who's attending, what they need (meal choice, plus-one, whatever you asked), and later, what they uploaded. There's no second onboarding moment where you have to convince Great-Aunt Carol to install yet another app for the second time.

It also means the RSVP data you collected actually connects to the event itself, rather than living in a separate system that has no idea the wedding happened.

Why we built Twirl this way

This is the whole reason Twirl exists as one product instead of a photo tool with RSVP bolted on as an afterthought, or the reverse. Guests get one link. Full-resolution photos and video, voice memos, and a proper RSVP with whatever custom questions you actually need, meals, plus-ones, dietary requirements, all included, no separate signup for a different service halfway through the process.

You don't need two tools to plan one wedding. You need one that does both jobs properly.
